Cinema isn’t specifically set up to key greenscreen, but you can probably do a reasonable using the alpha channel of your material. One to light the green screen evenly (preferably with soft-boxes), and a second set to light the talent that is separate form the green screen lights. The talent should be a few feet in front of the screen to avoid spill and you should also iron out the wrinkles.

WebJun 24, 2012 · The screen is a bit under lit to my taste, I usually light at around 45-50 ires on the screen itself to get a bit more saturation in the greens, but you’ll also need some distance to avoid spill. WebSep 8, 2011 · Yeah, the greenscreen looks a bit dark, but it’s probably still doable. Since you have After Effects, I would suggest doing your keying in AE with Keylight rather than doing the key in CS3. You’ll get much better composites with Keylight in After Effects than you’ll ever get with Premiere’s internal chromakeyer. Heck, in probably half or more of my greenscreen shoots you can see a lighting instrument (or two) in frame if you look at the raw footage… it’s all removed in post. Drag that effect onto your green screen footage.
