Tried to adjust the action on the bridge, but I am wondering if the truss rod needs to be adjusted. I had the one on my other V adjusted at a repair shop, and the guy basically said I could do it myself. My que... WebUse a straight edge and put it over 7-8-9 frets at the E string, you should be able to see then if the 8 fret is a bit higher than the 7 and 9, the it must be filed down to be level. If they're already level, could be that the buzzing isn't from the string but from something vibrating with the string at that exact frequency (resonance)
