Web5 sep. 2009 · I got £28.50 for the radiators today. They were old, painted, rusty in places and still silted up (although obviously most of the liquid was gone). The yard were happy to take them though! Just goes to show where there's muck there's brass! :money:Wish I had thought of this when I had mine replaced. I have a load of scrap that has not been 'taken' for over three months now. Someone is obviously picking over it every month or so to look for copper and brass, but they don't bother with the steel.
