I'm at 2 degrees negative camber (top tipped in) and the adjustment bolts are maxed out. couple questions: I know inside edge tire wear will be an issue, is 2 degrees going ... I eyeballed the current camber at around (if not more than) +2 deg (top of tire kicked out). Then marked all 4 cammed washers where they sat and loosened them up. Web9 jul. 2024 · Well, it's a moot point now anyway. The SPC camber bolts already slipped and hosed my front camber bad. Went to -4.3 FL -3 FR after they slipped. Decided just to re-install the 14mm bolts in both holes and max out the camber at -2.8. That will have to do until I can get some camber plates. Web23 nov. 2024 · Your observation was correct, and our best guess is that he maxed the car out on positive camber thinking it was negative. (guy/"kid" couldn't have been any more than 21 years old). Manager at the new shop said that the car is fine, and that he could give me -2 degrees of camber in the back if I really wanted.
Web16 mei 2024 · The truck is showing around 1 degree of positive camber on the passenger and drivers side. The adjustment cams are pretty much all the way out. The guy at the lift shop said this is the best they could get, but also that with 1 degree of positive camber the alignment is within spec.
Web26 sep. 2015 · They are saying that the reason the adjustment is maxed out is because the truck is dropped. So they cant get it in any further. My friend that works at the shop said I could probably pull my upper control arm off and cut the area where the adjustments are. I just recently thew on new meyle rear control arms with stock suspension and was only able to get -1.5 out of the driver's and -2.2 on the passenger. maggots that jumpWeb9 jul. 2024 · If the upper bolt is going to slip, it's going to slip towards more camber (loosen off the bolts with the weight of the car on the wheels and it goes max camber), that's why I maxed out the upper and used the lobed lower bolt to dial it back. I believe you are talking about caster. After you lift a Jeep front axle you "should" have it checked for alignment. If you don't have enough caster you can add the longer adjustable lower control arms. I was able yo get -3.0 on both rears when they were maxed out. This was stock though. Now I have SPC Camber Arms, best $179 I spent on suspension. I now run -4.5, and plan to knock it out to -5.0. And I've been told i could go up to as much as -10 if i really wanted. maggots on garbage can
