WebJun 21, 2024 · The Oratory EQ presets sound better than SW, and you can use your favourite EQ with them (Equilibrium/Crave etc). I tested with Clears, HD800, HD650 and DT770's. It was night and day, the SW curve/filters sound very poor in comparison. I don't know why; you'd assume both curves would be similar.
WebYou can see if they are to noisy for you to use open backs. If they aren't then you can gravitate to the expensive stuff. These are warm but not super bassy. There are a lot of great headphones for openbacks that are near the 100-200 usd range. Don't feel like you have to spend all 600 usd at once!
